Every year's rows and notes, donations, trips, goals, people, property and holdings. A budget note opens straight into its cell.
One JSON file holding every year, goal, trip and table — a copy you keep, independent of this browser and of any Google account. With no account needed to use the app, clearing your browser data is the one thing that will lose it.
Coming from a spreadsheet? A year's CSV goes back in as well as out — work a year over in a spreadsheet and bring it home. It reads that year's Income, Expenses and Transfers rows only; account balances and the interest line are worked out by the app, so it leaves those alone.
Wondering what a change would do? Comparing opens a backup beside what you have now and shows the headline figures side by side — "what if we bought the house", answered without keeping two plans. It only reads: nothing in this browser is touched.
Restoring replaces everything currently in this browser. You'll see what the file holds and be asked to confirm first.
Deletes every year, goal, trip and table in this browser. Your theme is kept.
Anyone opening this link sees the tabs you pick, with no way to change them and no sign-in. The figures travel inside the link itself — nothing is uploaded anywhere, and nothing they already have saved in their own browser is touched.
This is a snapshot, frozen as it looks right now — later edits won't appear, so send a fresh link when the figures move. There's no way to withdraw one once sent, and whoever holds it can read everything inside it, so treat it like emailing a spreadsheet.
